Manafort, Flynn & Sessions Join Le Pen's Campaign. No Talk Of Russian Assistance Interferenc
At the headquarters of Marine Le Pen's National Front party, Ms Le Pen welcomed her new campaign staff: Headed by former (fired) Trump campaign manager, Paul Manafort, accompanied by former (fired) National Security Advisor to Mr. Trump, Mike Flynn and (soon to be fired) US Attorney General for the Trump administration, Jeff Sessions. Ms Le Pen exuberantly bestowed the three with a kiss on each cheek, which is customary in France and a firm cupping of their scrotums which is Ms Le Pen's preferred greeting.
Buoyed by the unexpected election of Donald Trump in the United States and by Britain's vote to leave the EU, the leader of the Euroseptic and Anti-immigrant National Front (FN) party, told the the three that the French election would be the next step in what she called a global rebellion of the people. "The European Union WILL DIE because the people do not want it anymore ... arrogant and hegemonic empires are destined to perish, such as the French centre-left socialist party, Parti Socialiste, smug do-gooders," Le Pen said to her new staff while spitting on the ground in disgust.
Talks quickly turned to Ms Le Pen's visit to Moscow and her meeting with Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin.
"Mr. Putin told me that Russia had no intention of meddling in the French presidential elections, though the meeting is likely to send the opposite message but with you three here, I'm sure that all will be sorted," Ms Le Pen referring to her new staff, adding, “He does not want to influence events in any way, shape or form but he gets to retain the right to meet with all the different political forces, just like his European and American partners do. He's really a very lovely man ... so viral and spry."
